Job summary

Finsbury Food Group is seeking a dedicated hygiene operativ[e] to perform day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of production areas, equipment and the factory floor. You will follow cleaning schedules and complete hygiene paperwork while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

The role involves hands-on deep cleaning, shutdown cleans where trained, and collaborating with colleagues to meet hygiene targets while demonstrating company values throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Previous hygiene or industrial cleaning experience.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a hands-on role.
• Hard-working, reliable and willing to put in the effort.
• Strong attention to detail and conscientious approach.
• Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of production areas, equipment and factory floor.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to meet required standards.
• Carry out hygiene tasks including deep cleaning and shutdown cleans when trained.
• Complete hygiene and compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work to tight schedules, follow safe systems of work and maintain good housekeeping.
• Collaborate with the team and support colleagues to meet hygiene targets.
