Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Hygiene Operative for a 4 on 4 off days shift (07:00 - 19:00) in the Chilled & Fresh division. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards across the warehouse and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

You will participate in cleaning operations, support in loading, picking, and goods inwards areas, and maintain clear communication between shifts to uphold product quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a chilled/cold warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn and progress.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse.
• Within the hygiene schedule, ensure automated areas are clear of debris at the required intervals.
• Provide cleaning support to Loading Area, Picking Area and Goods Inwards Area.
• Ensure clear communication between shifts on hygiene issues to duty management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored correctly, and any missing/defective equipment is reported.
• Adhere to risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times.

Job Description

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative

• 4 on 4 off Days: 07:00 - 19:00 - £27,697

This is a fast-paced role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks

To ensure that all Company and Customer hygiene standards are maintained and monitored; in line with the companies systems, policies and procedures.

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse
• Working inside the current Hygiene schedule, ensure that all automated areas are clear of debris at the required interval
• Provide cleaning support to other areas within the warehouse such as Loading Area, Picking Area and Goods Inwards Area
• Ensure that clear communication between shifts, on hygiene issues are relayed to co-workers and duty management team
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored in the correct place and any missing and defective equipment is removed and reported to the duty management team
• Ensure that all risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to at all time
