Job summary

Culina is seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our fast-paced warehouse team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on maintaining high hygiene standards across all areas and ensuring the cleanliness of automated zones on schedule.

You will contribute to a safe, tidy environment, supporting other areas like loading, picking and goods inwards, with clear shift communication and reporting any defective equipment. 4 on 4 off days.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chilled/cold warehouse is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn and progress.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse areas.
• Work within the Hygiene schedule to keep automated areas clear of debris at required intervals.
• Provide cleaning support to Loading, Picking and Goods Inwards areas.
• Ensure clear communication between shifts on hygiene issues to co-workers and management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored correctly and reported if missing or defective.
• Adhere to risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times.

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative

• 4 on 4 off Days: 07:00 - 19:00 - £27,697

This is a fast-paced role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks

To ensure that all Company and Customer hygiene standards are maintained and monitored; in line with the companies systems, policies and procedures.

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse
• Working inside the current Hygiene schedule, ensure that all automated areas are clear of debris at the required interval
• Provide cleaning support to other areas within the warehouse such as Loading Area, Picking Area and Goods Inwards Area
• Ensure that clear communication between shifts, on hygiene issues are relayed to co-workers and duty management team
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored in the correct place and any missing and defective equipment is removed and reported to the duty management team
• Ensure that all risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to at all time
