Finsbury Food Group is seeking a hands-on Hygiene/Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment. You will follow schedules, perform deep cleaning, and handle hygiene paperwork to ensure compliance and production readiness.

The role suits individuals with cleaning experience, physical fitness, and a team-focused approach who can work to tight schedules and contribute to high standards in a fast–paced food manufacturing environment in the UK.

Qualificações

• Previous hygiene or industrial cleaning experience (preferred).
• Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments (advantageous).
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a hands-on role.
• Hard-working, reliable, and willing to put in the effort required.
• Strong attention to detail with a conscientious approach.
• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of production areas, equipment, and the factory floor.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure areas are clean and ready for production.
• Perform hygiene duties, including deep cleaning and shutdown cleans (training provided).
• Complete hygiene and compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work to tight schedules, follow safe systems of work, and maintain housekeeping.

This is what you’ll actually do!

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of production areas, equipment, and the factory floor. You will follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned to the required standards and ready for production. You will carry out physical, hands-on hygiene duties, including deep cleaning tasks and shutdown cleans where required (training provided). Some high-level and industrial cleaning may be involved depending on skills and training. You will complete all hygiene and compliance paperwork accurately and on time, ensuring due diligence is maintained at all times. You will work to tight schedules, follow safe systems of work, and maintain good housekeeping and “clean as you go” practices throughout your shift. You will also work closely with your team, communicating effectively and supporting colleagues to meet hygiene targets while demonstrating company values at all times.
