Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Hygiene Operative to deliver high cleaning standards at a Liverpool site. You will work 16 hours per week across Saturdays and Sundays (7am - 3pm) at Pladis, 1 Long Lane, Aintree, Liverpool. The role focuses on maintaining clean toilets, canteens, floors and common areas in line with site procedures.

Experience in cleaning, hygiene, or facilities is useful, but full training will be provided. The position is permanent and part-time with weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets, changing rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and welfare areas.
• Clean canteens, break rooms, tables, chairs, floors and touch points.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet roll, hand towels, soap and sanitiser.
• Empty bins and remove waste in line with site procedures.
• Clean floors, doors, handles, sinks, surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Carry out regular checks of high-use welfare areas during the shift.
• Report any damage, blocked toilets, leaks, spillages or hygiene concerns.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow site hygiene, PPE, food safety and health and safety rules.
• Complete cleaning records or task sheets where required.
• Support additional facilities cleaning tasks when needed.
