Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Hygiene Operative - Chargehand for a night shift at Pladis, Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London. The role demands handover capability to the day supervisor and delivering high cleaning standards to meet client SLAs.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following schedules, and ensuring safety training is completed. The successful candidate will work in a flexible, proactive, and customer‑focused manner within a team and independently.

Job Title: Hygiene Operative - Chargehand

Rate of Pay: £14.09 Per Hour

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 48 Hours Per Week

Location: Pladis, Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London, Greater London, England, NW10 7N

This role is for nights, covering Sunday to Friday. Six nights a week 2230 - 0730. This is a working chargehand position, and the idea candidate must be capable to respond to client requests and handover to the day supervisor.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
• Understanding and completing client requests
