Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives in Minworth to join their client’s operation. The role involves cleaning and sanitising designated warehouse areas, managing waste, and operating cleaning equipment on fixed afternoon and night shifts.

You’ll work 2pm–10pm or 10pm–6am, with opportunities for overtime and a temp-to-perm path. On-site canteen and free parking are provided at the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning is essential.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Capable of manual handling and lifting.
• Able to bend, reach and work in confined areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and store products securely.
• Maintains high cleaning standards with attention to detail.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated warehouse zones including racking, walkways, dock areas and welfare facilities.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met across areas.
• Dispose of waste per company procedures; report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Operate sweepers, scrubbers and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and securely store equipment after use.

Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative for our client, which deals with well‑known honey products and various alcohol brands. Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives in Minworth.

The rate of pay is:

• Afternoons £14.53 per hour
• Nights £15.06 per hour

This is a full‑time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

• 2pm to 10pm
• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

Cleaning and Sanitising Warehouse Areas

• Clean designated warehouse zones, including racking, pedestrian walkways, dock levellers, and welfare facilities.
• Ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety standards.

Waste Management and Hazard Control

• Collect and dispose of waste in line with company procedures.
• Respond to spills promptly, remove hazards, and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues.

Operate Cleaning Equipment

• Use cleaning equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and other machinery safely and correctly.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and ensure all equipment and cleaning products are stored securely after use.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience on industrial cleaning.
