Job summary

2 Sisters Grimsby is seeking a Hygiene Operative to help uphold strict hygiene standards across production areas, ensuring machines and the building remain clean and compliant.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, deep cleans, and post-clean checks, with training provided in COSHH and chemical cleaning. The role requires good communication and the ability to work under time pressure in a busy factory environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative; training will be provided.
• A high degree of self-motivation and initiative is desirable.
• Good communication skills are needed to understand cleaning requirements and report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks across the factory, facilities and laundry.
• Clean processing equipment and production lines to high hygiene standards.
• Deep clean production areas and perform post-cleaning checks.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and complies with health and safety procedures.
• Work under time pressure and report incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/Manager.
• Trained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemicals (Training will be given).

Job Description

Role Purpose:

As a Hygiene Operative you will play an important role for 2 Sisters Grimsby. You will work across all of the production areas and be responsible for ensuring that all the machines and the actual building, meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

A role like this will vary and will require you to work across the factory, facilities and laundry – however the following are likely to be included.

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet high standards.
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly.
• Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed.
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health and Safety and Hygiene
• The ability to work effectively under pressure of time.
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/ManagerTrained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemical (Training will be given)

Qualifications

Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative however not essential as full training will be given. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand the cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
