Job summary

GXO Logistics is looking for a Hygiene Colleague at our Dartford site. This full-time, permanent role involves 40 hours per week across 5 days out of 7 with shifts from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00.

You will help maintain hygiene standards, ensure a clean, safe environment and support waste management and daily paperwork. The role requires good communication, self-motivation, and experience with cleaning chemicals.

• Experience with cleaning chemicals and products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene standards on site.
• Ensure high quality and tidy, safe working environment.
• Manage general waste and daily cleaning tasks.
• Complete daily rotas and paperwork.
• Be trained on equipment (balers, pump truck, LLOP).
• Follow SSOW and SOPs as trained.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working 40 hours per week, on 5 days out of 7 shift pattern.

Shift times are: 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Working as part of a team which is responsible for and maintaining hygiene standards on site
• Ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail which helps maintain a clean tidy and safe working environment
• Manage the general waste of site, collecting and disposing of all waste
• Completion of daily cleaning rotas and correct completion of daily paperwork
• To be trained on equipment which includes baling equipment, pump truck and LLOP
• To follow all SSOW and SOP's as trained

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Good communication skills, along with good listening skills
• Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work using own initiative
• Experience using a range of cleaning chemicals and products
