Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking Drivers Mate in Dartford, Kent to join a 2-person delivery team delivering furniture to customers’ homes. You will call ahead to confirm ETA, perform pre-delivery checks, and ensure a quality first-class service.

The role is full-time with a 48-hour week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota, with start times between 05:00 and 06:00. A salary is offered with benefits and pension.

• Record delivery outcomes accurately on the Flexi Pod system.

At GXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated Drivers Mates to join our energetic team at Dartford, Kent working on our IKEA contract. As a Drivers Mate you will be delivering furniture for IKEA as part of a 2-person delivery team. Customer service will be at the heart of this role!

This is a full time, permanent role you will be working 48 hoursper week on a shift pattern of5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota with start times between 05:00 – 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes and providing a first-class customer service experience
• Responsible for calling customers ahead of time to advise of ETA and carry out pre delivery assessment of the property
• Provide feedback to site regarding any issues during deliveries
• Accurately record delivery outcomes on to Flexi Pod system
