Job description

• The role of Hydrogeologist is primarily a technical/administrative role that will ensure compliance through regular review of required consented and permitted monitoring.
• The Hydrogeologist identifies changes in data trends and proactively looks to identify the root cause of this with the Water Specialist Team.
• The Hydrogeologist is responsible for communicating all data to BBV (e.g. Environmental Manager of the Sublots, other Hydrogeologist's) and to ensure they are aware of any breaches to consent and updating them with any associated action plan that may have been put in place to resolve an issue, with all relevant outcomes.
  Relevant degree or experience e.g. geology, geography, or environmental science.
• Good understanding of environmental issues in a work environment .
• An understanding of environmental legislation and principles of environmental management systems 140001; ability to work as part of the team to ensure compliance.
• Experience of construction of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good IT skills and confident in the use of Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Full driving licence and ability to work at multiple locations.
