Role: Hydraulics Team Leader

Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Salary: Around £40,000 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

1. Test, repair, and overhaul aircraft hydraulic components.
2. Set up and establish hydraulic test bench in a new workshop facility.
3. Work in accordance with technical publications such as CMMs & AMMs.
4. Fault find down to component level.
5. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Part 145 requirements.
6. Work according to circuit diagrams.

Requirements:

• Hold a recognized engineering qualification such as BTEC, BNC, ONC, or HNC/HND.
• Essential hydraulics, mechanical, and electro-mechanical skills.
• At least 5 years’ experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics, ideally in an aviation background or similar industry.
• Experience leading and managing a team of engineers or technicians.
• Full driving license.
