Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Civil Engineer - Hydraulics to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working on hydraulic design, modelling and analysis with multidisciplinary teams.

You'll prepare calculations, reports and design documentation, interpret modelling results, ensure compliance with industry standards, and develop practical solutions. A degree in civil eng, experience in hydraulic design, and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in hydraulic design or analysis.
Understanding of pipelines, drainage networks and water infrastructure.
Experience with hydraulic modelling and engineering design software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Full UK driving licence.
Commitment to professional development and Chartership.

Responsibilities

Undertake hydraulic design, modelling and analysis.
Support water, wastewater, pipeline and drainage network projects.
Prepare calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
Interpret modelling results and engineering data to develop practical solutions.
Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Ensure designs comply with BMS, CDM and relevant industry standards.
Support project delivery and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
