Job summary

Osprey Engineering Solutions in Leicester seeks an experienced Branch Manager to take full ownership of the local branch, leading internal staff and mobile technicians to drive growth and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will manage people, inventory, quality, and health & safety while expanding the business in the local area.

You will lead the team, recruit and coach staff, handle sales and quotations, and maintain ISO standards across QMS, HSE, and environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing a branch operation.
• Proven track record in business development or direct sales.
• Experience assembling hoses (qualification preferred).
• Experience administering quality and health & safety systems.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Fork lift licence preferred (not essential).
• Good numeracy and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for branch performance and standards.
• Lead, develop, and motivate branch and mobile team members.
• Ensure professional customer service and timely communication.
• Assemble hoses from patterns or drawings.
• Handle call-outs during and out-of-hours.
• Respond to quotations and price within guidelines.
• Maintain ISO-quality, health & safety, and environmental systems.
• Provide technical support to hose technicians.
• Recruit, train, and coach staff to meet targets.
• Manage inventory and stock checks, keep records updated.
