Job summary

EnerMech, a specialist service company, is recruiting a Hydraulic Sales Specialist to join its Fluid Power Products team in Aberdeen. You will drive sales of hydraulic and fluid power products, provide expert technical support to customers and the internal sales team, and act as the technical authority in commercial activities.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech are looking to recruit a Hydraulic Sales Specialist to join their Fluid Power Products team in Aberdeen.

The role is responsible for developing and growing sales of hydraulic and fluid power products, services and engineered solutions by providing expert technical support to customers and the internal sales team.

The role acts as the technical authority within the commercial function, identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships and supporting complex technical quotations while promoting the company's full range of capabilities, including hydraulic products, hose assemblies, engineering services, hose integrity management and subsea machining solutions.

Key duties will include:

• Develop new business opportunities across target market sectors.

• Carry out customer visits to understand technical requirements
• Provide expert advice on hydraulic and fluid power products.
• Interpret hydraulic schematics and customer specifications.

The Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the hydraulic or fluid power industry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
• Experience in technical sales or application support.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics.

• Commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience with offshore, marine or industrial hydraulics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic power units.
• Experience with hose and fittings.
• Familiarity with Parker Hannifin or equivalent hydraulic product ranges.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
• HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
