Job summary

RES Environmental Ltd is seeking a Hydraulic Modeller in Sheffield to deliver predominantly wastewater hydraulic modelling projects. You will plan surveys, supervise site visits, build and verify models, and contribute to project scoping and modelling solutions.

You will analyze results with Excel and other packages, generate plans using MapInfo, write reports, and engage with clients by phone or email. You will supervise graduate and assistant modellers and assist in risk assessments and

Qualifications

• 3 years practical experience in the wastewater hydraulic modelling field.
• 2-3 years ICM 1D experience with some 2D experience.
• Member of appropriate professional body.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise various surveys.
• Manage site visits and observe survey contractors.
• Build and verify hydraulic models.
• Assist in project scoping and modelling solutions.
• Analyse results using Excel and other software.
• Produce plans using MapInfo and write reports.
• Engage with clients via phone, email or meetings.
