Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services, drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers across the UK and internationally.

We are recruiting an entry-level Hydraulic Modeller in Leeds to join our Water and Wastewater Team. Candidates with limited experience but strong analytical skills and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

What you can bring:

• An understanding of the UK water industry, environment, and sustainability with a desire to apply your skills to environmental challenges.
• Experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a goal to attain professional qualifications.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Your purpose:

• Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental issues and propose solutions.
• Create, verify, and analyze hydraulic sewer models.
• Develop 1D and 2D flood risk models.
• Handle and analyze environmental data.
• Utilize GIS software (e.g., MapInfo, ArcGIS) to understand complex environmental problems.
• Prepare reports and project deliverables.
• Plan and supervise surveys.
• Support junior team members in solving environmental challenges for clients.
