Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Peterborough, United Kingdom, is seeking a Wholegoods Material Planner to join the DBU Wholegoods Planning Team.

This permanent hybrid role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-site and flexible arrangements. You will develop and maintain supply plans for wholegoods, monitor demand signals using ERP and planning systems, and create master schedules that balance customer needs with manufacturing and procurement.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with materials planning, inventory management and scheduling.
• Experience using ERP and materials planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans aligning wholegoods with demand.
• Use planning systems to monitor supply/demand and drive corrective actions.
• Create master supply schedules balancing customer needs with capabilities.
• Lead part change management and minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve continuity.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements to meet objectives.
• Support PFEP initiatives by maintaining planning parameters.
• Communicate recovery plans and material risks across teams.
