Job summary

Cummins is offering an enthusiastic EMEA Wholegoods Planning placement in Peterborough to learn how a major global organization operates within our Integrated Supply Chain. You will develop analytics, support planning for engines and 14 Cummins sites in Europe, and gain hands-on experience across global processes.

The role requires being onsite part of the week and you will work with the team on data integrity, KPI analysis, and cross-functional projects, building skills in Excel, PowerPoint,

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in supply chain related area (planning, logistics, purchasing)
• Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively
• Works well as part of a team and can manage workload effectively

Responsibilities

• Development of Supply Chain Analytics, reporting capabilities, and tools to enhance operational performance and visibility
• Lead and participate in process improvement projects across Wholegoods Planning with Cummins Stakeholders across global plants and Europe based Distributors
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in analytics and reports
• Support and involvement in major cross-business unit projects
• Analyze and interpret KPIs to identify improvement areas and develop action plans
• Complete operational Supply Chain activities related to Wholegoods (Primarily Engines) supporting 14 Cummins sites in Europe on Engine supply requirements
