Job summary

The University of Sheffield invites applications for a University Teacher to join the School of Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery. You will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching in Orthoptics and Ophthalmology, supporting pre-registration and postgraduate programmes, and contributing to student engagement and assessment across in-person and online modules.

You should hold HCPC registration in Orthoptics, a Masters or equivalent, and demonstrable teaching

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Orthoptics and HCPC registration.
• Masters or equivalent level of clinical experience in Orthoptics or related field.
• Experience in teaching and assessing pre-registration Orthoptic students or related clinical professions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and coordinate high-quality teaching and assessment.
• Contribute to module design ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
• Support student engagement, recruitment and support.
