The University of Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic University Teacher to join the School of Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery. You will contribute to orthoptics teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, delivering in-person and online modules and supporting student learning.

Applicants should hold a recognised Orthoptics qualification with HCPC registration, plus a Masters or equivalent clinical experience, and demonstrated teaching ability in

Qualifikationen

• Recognised qualification in Orthoptics and registration with the HCPC or relevant professional equivalent.
• Masters or equivalent level of clinical experience in Orthoptics/Optometry.
• Experience in teaching and assessment of pre-registration Orthoptic students or related clinical professions.

Aufgaben

• Design, deliver and coordinate high-quality teaching, assessment, feedback and student support to enable effective learning.
• Contribute to the design and development of programme modules that are accessible and inclusive.
• Actively contribute to the University's teaching and learning strategy.
• Engage in student recruitment and student support activities.
• Carry out other duties commensurate with the grade and remit of the post.
