Job summary

NavLive in Oxford offers a hybrid role as Technical Support & Test Engineer. You will bridge development and users, ensuring robust software releases and top-tier support for systems using multi-sensor fusion and high-precision positioning to create real-time 3D models.

You will own testing, validation, and deployment across cloud portals and edge environments on NVIDIA Jetson hardware, using ROS/ROS2, Docker, and Debian packaging. A degree and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
2+ years practical experience in a similar role.
Strong Linux (Ubuntu) command-line proficiency.

Responsibilities

Act as primary technical contact for troubleshooting the device platform; manage release cycles and deployments.
Design, develop and execute test plans; perform regression and end-to-end testing; validate cloud portal features and secure API communication.
Own the release pipeline, manage versioning and release notes; coordinate with teams for timely OTA updates to field devices.
