Job summary

Reward Recruitment is seeking a Technical Paraplanner based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The role involves preparing financial plans, reports and letters, with cash-flow modelling and forecasting responsibilities.

You will collate documentation to justify investment and product recommendations, including pensions and FCA compliance. Hybrid working is available after probation, with a comprehensive benefits package and a profit-related bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level Four qualification and ideally Level 6 Chartered status.
• Good understanding of the financial planning process and associated compliance aspects.
• Driven and focused with the ability to complete tasks under pressure on time and right first time.
• Experience of report writing and conducting investment and product market research.
• Technically proficient across all areas of financial planning, especially investments and pensions.
• Ability to use technical financial planning tools, financial modelling and back office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Plans, Suitability Reports and Letters.
• Cash flow modelling and forecasting.
• Prepare and collate documentation to support the recommendation and justify the provider and product recommended, including Investments, Pensions, EIS, VCT, IHT and Protection, along with a good understanding of FCA regulations and FCA products.
• Assist with client meetings when required, including note taking and follow up any actions as required.
• Manage your own workflows and tasks.
• Process improvements: review, enhance and streamline paraplanning processes, systems and procedures to increase efficiency in the paraplanning team.
