Job summary

FindCore are assisting an established independent wealth management firm with the recruitment of a Paraplanner. Permanent role based in the central Leeds office, with other roles available in Harrogate and Boston Spa.

You will produce suitability reports, conduct technical research, and support advisers with pensions, investments and client reviews. The role offers hybrid working after training, a competitive salary, pension contributions, and opportunities for professional qualification support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Paraplanner.
• Level 4 qualification preferred; will consider working towards level if sufficient experience.
• Minimum CII Diploma or equivalent including pension planning papers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports within agreed timescales.
• Conduct detailed technical research across financial-planning products and solutions.
• Assist with the preparation of client portfolio reviews.
• Respond to technical queries from clients and Financial Advisers.
• Produce detailed client cash-flow models.
• Support advisers with complex pensions, investments and wider financial-planning cases.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the firm’s preferred provider panels.
• Monitor recommended providers, products and investment structures on an ongoing basis.
• Work with the Technical team to update standard reports, recommendation wording and advisory tools.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge across all relevant areas of financial advice.
• Produce technical bulletins and updates for clients and professional introducers.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other members of the team.
• Ensure all advice documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Work closely with Advisers and administrators to ensure cases progress accurately and efficiently.
