Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced System Performance engineer in the FCAS programme to develop and run matlab-Simulink based models, delivering studies that quantify the effectiveness of kinetic and EW-enabled weapons. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape requirements and support the design process.

The role calls for collaboration, strong modelling skills, and the ability to take ownership of delivering high-impact analyses in a dynamic, hybrid on-site environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience developing reusable programmes in high level languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, C++).
• Willingness to operate within an agile framework and adopt AGILE values and behaviours.
• Ability to learn and work autonomously with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilise the matlab-Simulink System Model to optimise weapon effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other teams to translate findings into requirements and influence FCAS design.
• Work autonomously with authority to deliver studies and demonstrate progress.
