Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced engineer to support the FCAS design within the System Performance team. You will develop and run MATLAB/Simulink based models to quantify and optimise the effectiveness of kinetic and EW-enabled weapons as part of a wider, interlinked combat air system.

You’ll collaborate across engineering teams, take ownership of delivery, and apply agile practices while benefiting from a range of staff enhancements and flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience developing reusable programmes in a high level programming language.
• Ability to work autonomously with ownership for delivery.
• Willingness to operate within an agile framework and adopt AGILE values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilise the MATLAB-Simulink based System Model to optimise weapon effects.
• Collaborate with other teams to convert findings into FCAS requirements.
• Deliver a series of studies to demonstrate and assess system performance.
