Job summary

United Infrastructure T&D Limited seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator based at our Alness Office, Highlands, Scotland. You will coordinate day-to-day supply chain activities for projects, liaising between project teams, Subcontracts and Purchasing to ensure timely, compliant procurement and delivery of materials and services.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Supply Chain or CIPS, contracting/subcontracting experience, and strong communication with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain and/or CIPS is required.
• Experience in contracting/subcontracting works, preferably in energy/utilities sectors.
• Able to interact and communicate effectively with contractors/subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Local knowledge of the area and suppliers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate in accordance with Corporate and Project Specific Supply Chain Procedures.
• Act as the primary contact for project managers, engineers and construction teams for supply chain needs.
• Capture and document all project requests with clear scope, timelines and specs.
• Utilise ASR and supplier registers for evaluation, auditing and selection; conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Subcontracts and Purchasing to raise requests and track mobilisations.
• Participate in weekly project meetings and assist in maintaining subcontract trackers.
