Confidential in Eastleigh is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Administrator to support the operations team. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with a salary of £27,000–£28,000 plus bonus.

The ideal candidate will help manage supplier deliveries, reduce backlog, and keep customers informed while developing in a busy commercial environment. Recent graduates and professionals with experience in purchasing, planning or customer service are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or customer service preferred.
• Recent graduates with strong organisational and analytical skills encouraged to apply.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office skills required.
• Experience with ERP, MRP or inventory management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and take ownership of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Expedite supplier deliveries and minimise overdue backlog.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Challenge suppliers to improve delivery performance.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries, shortages and order issues.
• Keep business systems updated with accurate order information.
• Run backlog reports and monitor progress against priorities.
• Attend regular meetings to review critical orders and escalations.
• Deliver prompt, professional communication to customers and colleagues.
