Job summary

Castle Employment is recruiting a Supply Chain Administrator for a Goole-based role within a busy manufacturing business. The role offers hybrid working with up to two days from home per week and a salary of £32,000 per annum.

You will work closely with purchasing, production and commercial teams to support smooth supply chain operations, handling supplier records, stock control and data management while developing cross-department relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration within supply chain, purchasing or manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with basic formulas, filters and keeping spreadsheets.
• Experience using ERP or stock management systems.
• Strong organisational skills and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across purchasing, supply chain and commercial functions.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, certificates and product specifications.
• Support purchasing activities including new product development and material trials.
• Monitor inventory records, investigate stock discrepancies and support stock control processes.
• Manage supplier documentation and assist with supplier onboarding.
• Investigate pallet allocations, supplier queries and supply chain issues.
• Support management of claims and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with production, sales, purchasing and goods-in teams to ensure effective communication.
• Maintain spreadsheets, trackers and supply chain documentation.
