Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in Wakefield is seeking a SP Controller to manage supplier relationships and ensure uninterrupted supply across the NHS. You will engage stakeholders, analyse data, and support horizon scanning within a busy, transformation-focused team.

The role is hybrid (two days on-site in Wakefield) with a starting salary of £32,741 rising to £36,379 over three years, and a closing date of 15 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage inventory and supplier data.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and present insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organisation and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory data related to products and stakeholders.
• Oversee a large portfolio of suppliers to meet KPIs and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers using Supplier Relationship Management.
• Coordinate stakeholder actions, meetings and materials to promote understanding and commitment.
• Develop basic understanding of external developments affecting supply chains.
• Collect and analyse data using established tools and reporting formats.
