Job summary

Highlands and Islands Students' Association is seeking an Academic Representation Manager to lead the operational delivery of the Student Voice Representation (SVR) system across the partnership. The role involves coordinating recruitment, training and support for over 500 student volunteers to capture learning experiences and influence enhancements.

You will work with colleagues across HISA and UHI, build strong relationships with staff, and travel between campuses as required, including

Responsibilities

• Operational delivery and development of the SVR system within HISA and UHI.
• Ensure success and impact of the SVR system within QA and enhancement requirements in UHI.
• Support the Vice-President Education with induction and ongoing participation within the QA framework.
• Develop effective relationships with key staff across UHI and partners.
• Ensure synergy between SVR practice and other volunteer roles within HISA.
• Engage sectorally to share best practices in academic representation.
• Contribute to wider approaches to academic representation beyond SVR.
