Job summary

Hertfordshire Students' Union is seeking a Representation Coordinator to lead the School and Student Community Organiser programme, recruiting and developing student leaders to represent peers across the University of Hertfordshire.

You will work closely with students, academic staff and professional services, prioritising student voice and impactful development opportunities. The role includes a probation period on campus with potential remote work after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience of line managing, supervising or coordinating staff, student staff, volunteers or student leaders.
• Experience of recruiting, training, supporting and developing staff, volunteers or student leaders.
• Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating projects, events or engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the SCO programme, empowering students to represent their schools and communities.
• Recruit, train, develop and support SCOs throughout the academic year.
• Line manage SCOs, including induction, probation, performance, wellbeing and budget oversight.
• Equip SCOs with knowledge and resources to represent students and deliver projects.
• Organise networking, training and development opportunities for SCOs.
