Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Streetworks Coordinator in Nottingham, offering hybrid working and a salary of £28,000–£34,000 DOE. The role focuses on delivering highway improvement schemes, TRO consultations and highway signage, with a clear path to progression within a growing highways delivery organisation.

You’ll join the Project Services team in Pre-Construction, coordinating across teams to ensure quality, safety and timely project delivery while benefiting from LGPS and onsite parking

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience using CAD and data management systems on highway projects.
• Knowledge of TROs, highway design standards and statutory processes.
• Ability to write reports and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Understanding of health & safety and highway legislation is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of highway improvement schemes within budget and programme.
• Manage TRO consultations, ensure legal compliance and stakeholder engagement.
• Investigate TRO objections and provide balanced recommendations.
• Advise on traffic orders, signage and road markings.
• Review external traffic schemes against design and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Construction and Commercial teams to support delivery.
• Maintain high health, safety and environmental compliance.
