Job summary

British Transport Police is seeking an experienced Event Planner to join the Force Planning Unit in Leeds or Manchester. The role focuses on planning football and Level 2 events, coordinating with Event Commanders and external partners, and providing real-time support to senior command teams during events and incidents.

You will handle contingency planning, maintain records, and work in a fast-paced policing environment with changing priorities and demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum of A-level standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate football and Level 2 events, producing high-quality plans and orders.
• Work with Event Commanders and stakeholders throughout planning, delivery and debrief stages.
• Provide real-time support to senior command teams during planned events and incidents.
