Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (Stock Condition) for an interim 6‑month contract based in Warwickshire. The role is 3 days on site and 2 days working from home, paying £300 per day inside IR35.

You will join the Asset Management team to survey stock, manage planned maintenance and ensure housing assets are compliant and fit for purpose. Strong project management, surveying experience in housing and excellent stakeholder communication are essential for delivering

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
• Experience in housing, property services or social housing environments.
• Experience delivering stock condition surveys and managing programmes.
• Strong project management in occupied residential properties.
• Knowledge of health and safety and CDM Regulations.
• Experience with budgets, valuations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and surveying systems.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Undertake stock condition surveys across residential properties.
• Carry out HHSRS assessments, defect inspections and measured surveys.
• Manage planned maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of works, tenders and reports.
• Oversee contractors and monitor KPIs and budgets.
• Administer contracts, including valuations and payments.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to contract.
• Maintain project and asset records.
• Analyse data and contribute to investment strategies.
• Provide technical advice to stakeholders.
