Job summary

Lifestone Homes seeks a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Asset Management team, conducting surveys of occupied and vacant homes across our Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex and North London portfolios. You’ll assess condition, HHSRS risks and energy performance, informing future investment.

This predominantly mobile role requires diary management, independent work, and strong resident relations to complete surveys accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent, or proven stock condition surveying experience
• Experience assessing property condition and identifying maintenance or investment needs
• Knowledge of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence with access to vehicle

Responsibilities

• Carry out stock condition surveys across occupied and vacant properties
• Record accurate data using tablets and survey systems
• Assess condition and identify future investment requirements
• Complete HHSRS assessments and document findings
• Raise repairs and coordinate follow-up actions
• Maintain survey data, photos and documentation
• Manage diary and workload to meet survey targets
• Communicate professionally with residents, colleagues and contractors
