Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a 12-month contract with extensions. The role is hybrid with up to two days per week onsite in Manchester or London, and a daily rate of £400–£500 via Umbrella company.

The successful candidate will define SLIs/SLOs, participate in incident response, and build automation to improve service reliability across cloud, Linux, and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with site reliability engineering practices and automation.
• Proficient in building and maintaining monitoring and alerting.
• Strong teamwork across engineering and security disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage SLIs/SLOs with meaningful alerts and dashboards.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Build automation to reduce manual operational effort and improve reliability.
• Implement monitoring, logging and telemetry for visibility.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, security and operations teams to improve production readiness.
• Support continuous delivery and reliable deployments.
