Job summary

EDF Energy in Bridgwater is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Nuclear Infrastructure programme. You will support delivery of major contracts at Hinkley Point C, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and handover activities to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.

This site-based hybrid role offers exposure to project controls, planning and stakeholder engagement, with a path to develop your career across commercial and programme management disciplines

Qualifications

• Degree or similar qualification in construction, engineering, steel design, manufacturing or related field.
• Project management and organisational skills gained through practical experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in complex projects.
• Member of APM or PMI or understanding APM Body of Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers in delivering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and handover activities across assigned contracts and work packages.
• Coordinating activities and interfaces with engineering, commercial, procurement, construction, project controls and safety teams.
• Maintaining project schedules, records, governance documentation and auditable decision logs.
• Supporting project reporting, earned value management, budgeting and business case preparation activities.
• Facilitating stakeholder communication, supplier engagement and collaborative project delivery across the programme.
