Job summary

EDF (UK) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of key contracts at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. You will work with experienced project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role offers exposure to project controls, planning, governance, and contract delivery within a highly technical environment. A site-based role provides close collaboration with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or similar qualification in construction, engineering, steel design, manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Project management and organisational skills gained through practical experience.
• Member of APM or PMI or able to demonstrate an understanding of the APM project management Body of Knowledge principles

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of major contracts and work packages at Hinkley Point C.
• Coordinate activities with engineering, commercial, procurement, construction and project controls teams.
• Maintain project schedules, governance documentation and auditable decision logs.
• Support project reporting, budgeting and business case preparation.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and collaborative project delivery across the programme
