Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of Hinkley Point C at Bridgwater. This hybrid role combines site exposure with office work, offering a pathway to develop your project management career while contributing to a major low-carbon infrastructure program.

You will assist senior managers across engineering, procurement and construction, coordinate stakeholders, maintain schedules, and support governance and reporting to ensure work is on time, within budget

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, engineering, steel design, manufacturing or related field.
• Project management and organisational skills gained through practical experience.
• APM or PMI membership or ability to demonstrate understanding of the APM Body of Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and handover activities.
• Coordinate activities and interfaces with engineering, commercial, procurement, construction, project controls and safety teams.
• Maintain project schedules, records, governance documentation and auditable decision logs.
• Support project reporting, earned value management, budgeting and business case preparation.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and supplier engagement across the programme.
