Job summary

Accent Housing is seeking a Service Charge Specialist on a hybrid, UK-wide role with travel to schemes in the South and East (Camberley, Kent, Peterborough, Cambridge). The position is a 2-year fixed term, 35 hours per week, with offices in Peterborough or Camberley and a salary around £38,500 per year.

You’ll work with Asset teams to ensure accurate charge apportionments, spot discrepancies, and improve data integrity across schemes, positively impacting residents and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service charge management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to interpret complex residential leases and identify discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Excel, finance systems, and housing management software.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites, verify data, and analyze service charge schedules.
• Collaborate with Asset teams and leadership to align apportionments with tenancy and lease agreements.
• Travel in the South and East for site visits and hands-on property work.
• Ensure data integrity and fairness for customers across Accent.
