Job summary

Housing Solutions, a not-for-profit Housing Association based in the South East of England, is seeking a Service Charge Assistant to join the Finance team. You will support service charge accounting, prepare annual estimates and year-end statements, reconcile transactions and maintain data across properties and schemes.

You will review invoices and contracts, contribute to month-end and year-end processes, and use Excel, Xledger and Power BI to support strong financial controls and customer

Qualifications

• Experience with processing financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Ability to work accurately with detailed data and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• DBS certificate satisfactory to Housing Solutions (basic).

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual estimates and year-end statements.
• Process and reconcile service charge transactions.
• Review invoices, contracts and cost allocations; maintain data.
• Support month-end and year-end processes and reporting and audits.
