Job summary

IN2 Consult is seeking a Service Charge Manager for the Basingstoke area. This hybrid, permanent role focuses on leading the service charge function, budgeting, administration and year-end accounting across a diverse property portfolio.

You'll ensure accuracy, compliance and clear information for customers, while strengthening financial controls and driving continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in service charge management or senior service charge roles.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, expenditure allocation, apportionments, reconciliations and year-end accounting.
• Understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and related housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the service charge team.
• Coordinate annual service charge budgets and forecasts.
• Deliver year-end service charge statements and final accounts.
• Ensure processes comply with legislation, regulatory expectations and internal policies.
• Produce management information for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support audit activity with robust documentation.
• Drive process improvements and data quality in service charge operations.
• Communicate charges clearly to customers and resolve enquiries.
