Job summary

Sue Ross Legal are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK law firm for a Serious Injury Paralegal. The role supports lead file handlers in progressing serious injury caseloads, including personal injury and catastrophic injury matters.

You will produce letters, obtain medical records, review documents, and maintain case management with Proclaim, Excel and Word. A strong client-service ethos and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Hybrid role with two days in Wakefield office.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting on high-value cases (£150k+).
• Strong client-facing skills and written communication.
• Able to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce standard free-form letters to progress cases using Proclaim.
• Obtain and review medical records; collate evidence for assessments.
• Answer calls as first point of contact for the Fee Earner.
• Schedule appointments and liaise with Finance on disbursements.
• Assist team during peak periods with document production and admin duties.
