Job summary

bet365 Group is seeking a Regulatory Data Developer to shape reporting systems ensuring regulator-ready outputs. The role focuses on translating complex data models into accurate, traceable outputs while migrating legacy SQL Server solutions to GCP and delivering cloud-native reporting in BigQuery.

The team emphasizes accuracy, performance, and automation, with opportunities to explore AI-assisted tooling to improve reliability and reduce manual effort across on-premise and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL knowledge with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and validating data quality.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in regulatory contexts.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., Claude Code).
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and version control.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining regulatory data submission systems on SQL Server and BigQuery.
• Building automated pipelines for ingesting, transforming and loading regulatory data.
• Supporting migration of legacy reporting solutions to BigQuery.
• Implementing validation checks, monitoring and alerting for submission accuracy.
• Collaborating with senior colleagues to design efficient cloud-native reporting solutions.
• Applying AI tooling and automation to reduce manual effort and improve delivery quality.
• Producing and maintaining documentation for technical processes and solution designs.
• Participating in code reviews and following development standards.
• Delivering high-quality work within required timeframes.
