Job summary

UK SBS is recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager in Swindon with hybrid options across Swindon, Stockton-On-Tees or Newport. The role focuses on strategic procurements in a dynamic public sector environment, driving contract terms, service specifications and stakeholder alignment.

You will lead sophisticated tender process design, ensure compliance with government regulations, and mentor teams to deliver savings and compliant procurement outcomes. Salary band around £53k with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in advanced purchasing techniques and handling above-threshold procurements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities to secure buy-in for procurements.
• Solid background in procurement with knowledge of government regulations, best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurements adhere to Government regulations for advertising opportunities.
• Provide client relationship management to secure partner buy-in for strategic procurements.
• Develop service specifications and contract terms in preparation for tender processes.
• Deputise for Head of Procurement as point of contact for complex enquiries and requirements.
