Job summary

UK SBS Ltd in Swindon (with hybrid options to Swindon, Stockton-On-Tees or Newport) seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to lead complex procurements within a public sector context. You will manage tender processes, develop service specifications, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving value and stakeholder alignment across projects in Space, IT, Energy, and Consultancy.

You will deputise for the Head of Procurement, mentor colleagues, and shape category strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience with above-threshold procurements and Jaggaer eSourcing.
• Proven track record in delivering complex procurement projects.
• Strong knowledge of Government regulations and compliance.
• Experience working in public sector procurement contexts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurements follow Government regulations for advertising opportunities.
• Provide Client Relationship Management to secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Develop service specifications and contract terms for tenders.
• Act as deputy Head of Procurement for complex enquiries and requirements.
• Deliver and operationalise quality category strategies with a lead.
• Support savings targets across individuals, teams and the department.
• Resolve client and supplier queries and issues promptly.
• Provide data analysis and reporting to the Head of Procurement.
• Implement policies and procedures, including new Government requirements.
