Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to join the Anglian Water one Alliance. The role is based in Norwich or Peterborough with hybrid working and site visits as required.

You will provide technical leadership to process engineers, ensuring designs meet standards and project outcomes while contributing to sustainable water infrastructure projects across AMP8. Strong collaboration and innovation are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in water sector, process design and capital delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage process design workflow to deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality.
• Review mass balances, sizing, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs and process flow diagrams for accuracy.
• Support design planning and stakeholder engagement for process design acceptance.
• Provide technical input for supplier contracts and deliverables reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practice.
• Champion health, safety and environmental compliance including DSEAR.
