Job summary

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. The role focuses on delivering PMO and project controls services, developing framework implementations, and reporting on performance to clients.

You will build strong relationships with client representatives, contribute to monthly performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement including consideration of carbon emissions as part of delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PMO and project controls services.
• APM PPC foundation and practitioner.
• Degree in construction or engineering (or equivalent).
• Progress toward chartered status or professional membership.

Responsibilities

• Managing PMO and project controls performance on assigned commissions under supervision and mentorship of more senior PMO, project controls or project/programme management professionals assigned to that commission.
• Developing the effective implementation of PMO and project controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.
• Actively develops internal and external stakeholder relationships building strong professional relationships with client/client representatives.
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly reports and the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.
• Recommending and developing PMO and project controls methodologies including EVM.
• Managing the integration of all PMO and planning disciplines including risk management and planning. Improving the alignment of all PMO and project controls activity to the Mace control centre, client requirements and other legislation.
• Providing comprehensive technical expertise in support of PMO and project controls performance.
• Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
