Job summary

I.T. Alliance N.I. Ltd in Belfast is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a permanent, hybrid team. The role focuses on BAU operations, Fortinet and Cisco technologies, with on-call duties to handle incidents.

You will work with Fortinet routing, switching and wireless, SDA and ISE, and collaborate with security and infra teams to maintain high availability and security of enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet and Cisco technologies in a BAU environment.
• Fortinet NSE4-5 or Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent practical certification.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network security, routing, switching and wireless.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical support across enterprise network infrastructure and BAU operations.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot critical network infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Fortinet routing, switching and wireless.
• Support Cisco routing and switching environments; manage SDA and ISE.
• Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support for network incidents.
• Document network configurations and changes; collaborate with security and infra teams.
• Lead network changes, upgrades and maintenance in line with change processes.
